Making a Decision to Live for Jesus Christ

God wants a personal relationship with each one of us. He loves us so much that He sent His Son, Jesus, to pay the price (John 3:16). Accepting the Lord’s invitation to come to Him is as simple as praying to Him in faith, asking Him to forgive us of our sins, and welcoming Him as He helps us live for Him.

Have you made the decision to give your life to Jesus Christ? He doesn’t need long, complicated prayers, only a sincere heart. The following prayer is just a suggestion. You may use it or words of your own:

“Dear God, I confess that I have sinned against You. I am sorry. I ask You to forgive me for everything I’ve done wrong. I believe that Jesus, Your only begotten Son, died on the cross at Calvary to pay the price for me. Romans 10:9-10 says that if we confess the Lord our God and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, we shall be saved. I accept Jesus as the Lord of my soul. With my heart I believe that You, God, raised Jesus from the dead. I accept Jesus Christ as my own personal Savior. I want to live for You and ask You to take control of my life. Thank You, Jesus for saving me and giving me eternal life. Amen.”
